Opening Peppol invoices received by email or download
Many companies now send invoices through the Peppol network, and access points often forward them as UBL XML files. Belgium has required structured B2B e-invoices since 1 January 2026, and other countries are following. If you receive such a file outside an accounting system – as a freelancer, a foreign supplier or a bookkeeper – it is hard to read without help.
This viewer reads the UBL XML and shows the invoice with clear sections: parties, lines, VAT breakdown, totals and payment details. Electronic addresses (Peppol participant IDs) of seller and buyer are shown as well.
What you can do

- See whether totals and VAT add up, with rule IDs from EN 16931.
- Download embedded attachments such as PDF copies or timesheets.
